Spartak Moscow and Dunfermline play on it as well but I still don't think any competitive games should be played on astro that is my opinion.

dont think there is anything wrong with playing on astro if it is suitable, ( i suppose that is the problem, who deems if it suitable or not) have never been to sheriff so dont have a clue what it is like im just making a general comment and judging on our experience this year.

In fairness to Celtic lads. Irishtown is a very old astro and is not like a up to date astro. Sheriff pitch is similar to irishtoan old and over used ad its being used all year round.

Donnycarney play on a new astro and its very much like grass. Liffey had to change grounds for 1/4 final as they can't take a gate so they loose home advantage basically having to move to crumlin utds ground

Fai are now inspecting Irishtown so the saga of astro pitches rumbles on .

I didnt hear of any complaints from the City Utd lads when they played Crumlin away in last round, so it must be a decent astro. In fact I think thay were looking forward to playing on the astro after the very bobbly pitch the played Cherry Orchard on.

Is it a bit like the roof open/closed in The Millenium Stadium, if St Michaels win there will be no word of it, if they dont there might?!?!

There is no problem with Clontarf complex Astro pitch on Sunday , having been up there 2 years ago with saints is that the facility is not Spectator friendly (unless that has changed ) there is no room to watch and most people were huddled into corner or behind boundry fence with restricted view , that's the issue for me but looking forward to game expecting a good tough game

The Tv deal is that extended highlights will be showing on Setanta Tg4 and Irish Tv the game will not be shown live. The main game being Syc and micheals.

The other 3 games about 5 mins of each will be aired also. The draw will take place for the Semi Final directly after the Syc game.Any idea when these highlights would be due to be on TV?

I think personally Donnycarney could be a small bit overpriced if they have there full squad they can be dangerous. They probably have given us our hardest game(In The League) early in the league with there full squad They have had a lot of injuries So not sure what shape there in. 3/1 is a huge price and I see the double chance Donnycarney/ Draw is evens thats where my money is going lads.

Moyross 2-1 at home not an easy place to get a result id imagine they will have a huge home and vocal crowd.
