I might as well own up to a Whitesnake album too. And a couple of LA Guns efforts as well. The Europe thingy referred to above was only a fiver too so I don't feel too bad about it.
Well yeah, Supergrass and Suede had their moments too.
First Oasis album, Primal Scream, The Charlatans, Happy Mondays, Black Grape, The Beta Band, Super Furry Animals, Alabama 3....
Actually enjoyed the buzz of britpop, but then it was the first "scene" I was really old enough to properly enjoy..... Gig's 2 or 3 times a week, between Roadhouse, Academy, University and Apollo... Some bands endure, some bands believe their own hype and fade away/get dropped.

I was a goth for a while in the late eighties and early nineties. I failed due to tanning too easily in summer, smiling too much and being overweight. All three a no-no in bat world. :D
I've been a rave kid for far too long now. Your comment made me pine for the good old days Pat. Just give me some Wonder Stuff, Stone Roses, the Inspirals and the Smiths and I could be seventeen all over again...

Actually 'upgraded' from tape to cd recently. The singles really stand out alright.

Was talking to a girl who denied ever being a goth despite the following - owning Sisters, Cult and Mission albums and having seen all three live, owning a Fields of Nephelm album. Wearing large amounts of black clothing, going to goth clubs and putting on makeup to make her face pale. She was convicted of said charge.
Tanning too easily in summer? - you should have joined our lot on the annual six week excursion to Fermanagh, there'd be no danger of tanning whatsoever then. :D

No she's constantly complaining about never having enough of a tan (I have accused her of being too much of a tan  ;) .) which I always find very disconcerting for someone who listens to the Sisters.

Prepare for it, I have Lionel Richie!
Set up the firing squad then!
Of course he is right by my collection of Pantera and that is rather a strange mishmash!
