Myler leaves Athlone to join First Division leaders
Waterford United, who signed Kelvin Flanagan from Cork City last week, have announced that Andy Myler has also joined the Munster club.
In an effort to build on their current form, the Blues had their offer for Myler accepted by Athlone Town this weekend and he has joined United for an undisclosed sum. Town could release more players in the near future. Myler joined Athlone in the summer of 2000 and soon began finding the net at what would prove to be a record-breaking rate. However, he has not had the best season by his own standards.
Yeehaw!!! Now if they could only persuade Buckley to stay! :D
