You may have seen this in last night's programme:

I'm looking for your support in promoting a "Fly a Flag" game on the last day of the season. This will be against Bohemians on Saturday 20 November, kicking off at 7.45 as usual. I want as many people as possible to bring Cork flags, City flags, Irish flags, etc. to the Cross to say well done to the team, management and board for a great year, both in Europe and in the league. I need as many people as possible to help promote this with me. This may be a Family Enclosure idea but to be fair it was all the guys in FourFiveOne at the European games that sparked the thought in the first place. The flags, colour and atmosphere at those Intertoto games were fantastic! Wouldn't it be great to reproduce some of that again and have 4,500 or more flags all around the ground!
Thanking you for any support you can give,
JFK
PS It doesn't have to be just kids with flags!

This is a great idea and I was gonna post about the same thing today anyway.....we should try make this an annual event.....Everyone bring your flags, scarves, jerseys etc.. and lets make it colourful and most importantly a noisy atmosphere for what could still be an extremely important game for us...

The main reason it was so successful for europe was because 4-5-1 provided the flags on the day. So if the club want a repeat then they will need to be prepared to provide flags OR get our sponsors to do so.

Just wondering out of curiousity. Does every question have to be answered by a question?

No. Only some of the more puzzling ones.

Its not that hard a question to answer. For example i'll be bringing my flag. Will you?

I know it's not that hard a question to answer. However, I fail to understand your interest in whether I'm going to bring a flag to the Bohemians game.

Its pretty sad you cant answer a genuine question. You duck and dive same as you were doing on the supporters club thread. I'll ask one more time Are you bringing a flag? If you dont answer i'll just take it you take offense to me asking " You " a question.

were did i duck and dive on the supporters club thread?

fyi, afaik i, personally, will not be bringing a flag to the bohs game as things stand at the moment. for whatever that's worth

But he has already said he won't.

What about the rest of ye will ye be bringing flags? ;)

What does it matter anyway. Typically Cork, we take a good suggestion from someone and turn it into this long discussion with no meaningfull contribution from anyone.
