The best away trip of the year on Saturday night (once it's not called off again) and despite the fact I think cobh could put it up to us I'm still confident of the win.

Glenn is suspended having picked up an additional game for some unknown reason (the FAI are clowns in other words) so expect to see the same team that lined out against Wexford last time out.

Still seats on the bus if you wish to travel

Cobh have strengthened quite significantly, last Friday night were a completely different team in all senses of the word than played us at the start of the season. While I'd expect Longford to beat them, I don't expect it'll be overly comprehensive as you'll be expecting.

I don't think any of us would be expecting a comprehensive win. A lot of us would take a 1-0 win down there because after all they held us to 0-0 earlier this year.

Indeed, couldn't give a ****e as long as we win!

We're going to drop points at some stage probably in a game that on paper we should win. Hopefully it's not Cobh though. Any win will do.

yet again cant make match. I think game will be even tougher with Cobh makin those new signings since we last met. I predict a 2-1 win for us just about.

I can't go to the game tonight can anyone post links to live updates ( I know about extratime.ie) or maybe if it's on a local Cobh radio station, is that club app thing working and is it just for mobiles, I'm useless at Twitter so don't bother with it and don't use facebook, I will be in a house with teenagers tonight so anything will do as i'm sure they will know how to access whatever links sites or apps etc
any help greatly appreciated
Come on D'town

Very heavy rain in the south since about midday - hope game goes ahead.

I can only imagine the reaction of our travelling supporters if Cobh call it off just before kick off again, they would not be happy! The team wouldn't be too pleased either.

Futbol24.com or livescore.com are pretty good for updates.

If Cobh leave it til the last minute AGAIN they should do the right thing and concede the game

History Maker Record Breaker, Davy what a legend. Three points the main thing though, and yet another clean sheet. If Hunty and our defenders are on clean sheet bonuses they're raking it in.

Goals here by the way

Can't see Longford being stopped now. Team has finally gelled and O'Sullivans goals are really helping kick on that bit extra that was lacking at the start of the season.

Not counting any chickens yet but the fact that we're playing well and deserving our wins is the most encouraging thing. For a long time last year Davy's goals were covering up a lot of pretty poor performances especially defensively. Adding Sullivan and Flynn has sorted that out, plus Jamie Mulhall who only played one or two games last year due to the broken leg he got against Drogheda. We've not had the injuries we had last year either which helps. Hopefully it stays that way.

delighted for Sully that the record has being shatteredd!not only that he has equalled Richie Parsons alltime league record of 39 goals which I am sure will be broken! btw the clean sheets record that we had in 2005 for most clean sheets in a row has also being broken also!
