"I'm an honourable man"

"I've been assainated by another club"

Colm

Roddy's coming out of it a lot better.

Seery is hiding something. Roddy: "nobody knows the facts".

Longfordian
05/11/2004, 1:08 PM
I'd imagine Seery was in tears because of the amount of his own money that he's invested in Dublin City and he sees it going down the drain..It's his whole life, like him or loathe him

Very good entertainment for those of us who 'know' the characters involved.

But from the perspective of a neutral sports fan listening to the main radio station in Ireland, in a busy lunch-time slot, our league is being made to sound like it's run and populated by muppets. Which it is.

Could you imagine Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle having a barny like this over Graeme Souness on a major national radio station in England....?

Great entertainment for us, but yet again very bad publicity for our league...

boc123
05/11/2004, 1:08 PM
Why won't Roddy say what it is???

Your right, It's making a joke of the league again for the general public

Roddy keeps mentioning something that made him leave, but he won't say what it is no matter how many times they ask him. It's all a bit strange.

He says he is not been deceived, but we all are. The truth will come out in the end, he said.

sounds like roddy's penning the lyrics to brian mcfadden's next song. "I can look in the mirror with clean conscience blah blah blah i ahve a wife and kids blah blah blah i'm an honourable **** blah blah blah"

The way I took it was that Roddy was insinuating that Seery was going to pull the plug on Dublin City. Great entertainment

When quized why only 40 City fans turned up to last nights match and how do they survive, Seery clames City have around 150-170 fans

it was funny when joe asked seery where he gets money from and he replied firstly by saying he "robbed" it before a bit of a pause and then "eh... and borrow it and do a bit of wheeling and dealing as well"

w@nkers !

Rang up to make a point and they didn't call me back :O)

Was mad keen to connect this whole debacle in with the Rooney affair and say that it just shows that Irish football is full of men of little moral fibre who are too happy to wash their dirty linen in public at the expense of the league, and are happy to let the house of cards burn down around themso long as they can push their own petty little point and squabbles in the immediate term.

Gutted they wouldn't let me on to make it.... :o)

Hilarious stuff. Roddy going on about something immoral that Seery had done to him and Seery saying he didn't know what he was on about. The best bit was when Seery got outraged and was demanding that the first guy on apologise for something.
*high pitched, hyperventilating voice* You have to take that back, you apologise for that right now. :D

Think the UCD guy's name was John Mullen, definitely John something.

Ringo

Best bit was Roddy's "i've no conscience, i can sleep at night" said it a couple of times!!!! :D
