Chimney Corner have pulled out of Chamoionship 2 for next season. The NIFL confirm that Championship 2 will be 15 teams.

I don't think we'd all be able to agree on either Alberts or Rovers though.

I don't think they are folding. Just withdrawing from the league. I am old enough to remember them joining the league in the 1970s.

No I think they're staying in the Northern League. They looked to join the LOI but I think the IFA refused them permission to do so.

Playing in the lower leagues I don't think the FAI even wanted then if I'm not wrong ?

It was Newry that the talk of joining the LOI was about not Chimney Corner. So take yer lousy jokes elsewhere!! 😄😄

True. Given their location the LOI would not soot them anyway.

It was so nearly a brush with disaster. Would they have deployed a sweeper system against the better LOI sides?
