Robbed from facebook, but sure will sit nicely here.

Name these 12 LoI grounds as seen from space (http://balls.ie/football/quiz-can-identify-league-ireland-grounds-space/?fb_action_ids=10152010411376916&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_ref=.U4YGvY67dgU.like).

Scroll down just to the bottom of the picture first. Scroll on a bit more and you get three choices, which makes it much easier.

12/12

10/12. Never been to Oriel Park in fairness but I'm disappointed I didn't get Tolka right.

11/12. Couldn't guess Terryland. In fairness though, it only looked like one stand in the ground.

12/12. So many away trips over the years.

I was looking at the stands and the surroundings. If I'd thought of the artificial pitch that would have helped alright!

10/12 got dalymount and terryland wrong

Yep, 12 out of 12. Galway Cobh and RSC were educated guesses, wasn't sure of them. Running track gave the RSC away, with Cobh it was the sea nearby.

12/12 - LOI legend - the darling of your fans, and a credit to the league. Top work.

How can anyone not recognise Oriel Park? Sure, isn't the uneven patchy plastic surface not visible from space.

They told me that for my miserable 10/12, they're easily pleased.

8/12, got the first six right then went off the rails. Can't believe I got Tolka wrong - it doesn't look right.

I managed to get Tolka wrong. TOLKA!

11/12 However.

I'll go flagellate myself now.

Seriously, who put all those fields there? It's been doctored.

They are the back of the College on Clonliffe Road and the Bishop's Palace. I lived in the area long enough and support the club. I have no excuse.

I'm not much of a proper supporter having only been to one ground, but I still managed to get 11. That quiz is too easy!

Mugged off by the RSC. Disgusted.

Charlie Darwin
28/05/2014, 11:22 PM
The RSC was the easiest one! Bit crafty throwing in Morton and Whitehall as the other options with the running track there, but the blue stand is a dead giveaway.

12/12, nearly messed it up with Bray but the dart track saved me.

Be thankful you at least know what your home ground looks like. Unlike some...

Tolka is easy once you see the SFC on the stand. Other than that, yeah, it doesn't look like Tolka.

Tallaght seems to have the temporary stand behind one goal?

Recognised Oriel only by how bad the pitch looked. Other than that, wouldn't have got it.

I don't think it's the temporary stand, I think it's probably when they were preparing to put the temporary stand in for the Europa games.

Simple's 12/12 I'd be confident of getting 22/22 including old clubs.

11/12...jumped the gun a bit when I saw the sea and picked Bray instead of Cobh...very obvious when you see the Bray one with the Dart line right beside it..

10/12 Tolka & Terryland look different for above. Also Cobh was a guess(well educated guess)

11/12 Galway got me. Cobh was a lucky guess.

10/12 - Cobh threw me. Don't know why I didn't get the artist formally known as Terryland

12/12 found it surprisingly easy - the Cobh one was deduction/logic vs actual knowledge.

No pictures of Athlone, or Longford. We don't have none of your fancy spaceships up here.

With a name like that maybe you should keep that sort of information on the QT.

When you look at it like that, it really is in the middle of nowhere.

It's not in the "middle of nowhere" Nigel. There's a warehouse across the road.

I disagree. The warehouse is directly beside the middle of nowhere.

It's really not that far from town though.

Sure the Strokestown Road will bring you anywhere in a jiffy.

Would you walk from Longford Town to City Calling Stadium? I certainly wouldn't.

I did once. It was weird. Really foggy, and the lights of cars coming over the hill gave off a gleam like a UFO before they crested it.

Well, jiffy in a car. The only time I've ever been at the Flansiro was on the way to Mayo. Never took a game in there. Yet.

11/12, RSC missed...only one I hadn't been to.

Oriel was the other one that caused a second and third glance

I bet mypost could identify them all from his spaceship.
