Ya, in fairness to Dundalk they have had a bit of a hex over us in the last couple of seasons. Although to ease the pain we have do have 2 trophies in those 2 seasons :p:p:p.

On current form and the amount of goals they are scoring its hard to see past them for the league. All the same it is still pretty tight at the top and should be a very tight league table at the end of the season, its unlikely any team will break away at the top. The transfer window might tell a tale for Dundalk. No European distraction but the loss of a player or two might set them back.

There's a long way to go yet.

Pats and Shams are still up there and neither have really hit top form yet.

Apart from the Europa League of course.........

From our point of view we may have given ye a better game of it if we hadn't Alan Keane, Joseph Ndo, Raffaele Cretaro and Kieran Djilali out injured and a fully fit Conneely. Always thought we were playing for Europe anyway this season so nothing has changed too much for us after last nite.

Missing that many players is always going to hurt, but in fairness even though we haven't got as many out injured, we are missing who in my opinion is our most important player for the season in Stephen O'Donnell and also John Mountney who is having a really good season.
