I don't condone racism and I apologise if I upset any Dubs or the PC brigade.
Why am I not stunned by your level of ignorance?

Touché.
I'd talk about the Bohs v UCD game, but I think Dalymountrower covered literally everything of interest that happened in about 12 words, so...

You dismissed those criticising the chants as PC, or Dubs getting easily offended.
You absolutely do condone racism going by those comments. It's others' fault for getting offended easily.
It never even occurred to you that Asians might be offended by the comments too. Quite a blinkered view overall there.
I have repeatedly stated that I do not condone racism. How dare you suggest that I "absolutely do condone racism", that is a slight on my character.

The Premier seems split in 3 mini leagues right now - the top 4, 5th to 11th and Athlone. I'm surprised to see Sligo a bit adrift of the top 4. I know they had a good win in Limerick recently. Pat's leading the way, fair play. Rovers back in the mix. Kenny pushing Dundalk in the right direction once more. Cork back near the top for the first time since their resurrection. Dundalk, Cork and Pat's are Limerick's next three games, all at home. I'll have to make my way off to Thomond Park to see how Limerick and 3 of the top 4 are shaping up.

Well the neutrals have said you're racist so I automatically agree with them without having any proof for myself...

I suggest it because you said -
I apologise if I upset any Dubs or the PC brigade.
Which shows you don't even understand why the comments are offensive.
Fairly simple really.
Gerry Adams can say he condones violence. But it's actions that count, not words.

The first mini-league is the top 5. Sligo may be a few points back but they have got their form back and they have the players to sustain a good run.
The three strongest squads are Pats, Dundalk and Sligo and they're also the teams playing the best football. Sligo are probably outsiders because of the points dropped but they'll chase Pats and Dundalk.
On what I saw last night, Cork are not top 3 material. Shamrock Rovers have some very good players but they don't have strength in depth in key positions. They'll battle with Cork for 4th spot.
After that 5, there's a big gap in quality and strength in depth. Most of the others are capable of the odd win against one of the top teams, but they won't do it consistently.

Ok you have apologised to Dubs and the PC brigade - now how about the Pakistani community, or is this ommission indicitave of your racist tendencies?

Seems a bit of a backlash against Cork from the Dublin soccer community, this is probably better than the patronising stuff that was going on at the start of the season toward them from the same quarter; how great Cork were to get big crowds out to a league of Ireland game etc. This of course was good for the game here as the top players could express their skills better down there rather than at an empty Richmond Park and Belfield. However if it looks like Cork could challenge for the title things seem to change.
Also I am glad that all UCD fans are well-behaved and have proper middle class manner when they go to a league of Ireland game.
ps Saw something on twitter that suggests that there was armed guards down at the Waterford v Shels game, this can't be true?

I agree we will not win the league I never thought we would but some people got a little carried away during the rovers game singing were gona win the league ha bit ridiculous.. had a great start to the season but that's all it is a start and maybe if we had more depth to the squad we could sustain a challenge but with the injuries we have to influential players like rafter and morrisey it was bound to catch up with us.. 2 tough away games in the last 2 weeks have been a bit of a reality check but some winnable games against Derry bray limerick and athlone coming up should see us back on track in the race for a European spot we have to aim for this year. Also not great to hear racist chanting from our fans no place for it

Bit of a mad table with all the games that have been called off though. You'd imagine whoever grabs second will have a decent chance of beating Limerick.

Limerick, don't bet on that. As a lifelong Drogheda fan I think we're certs for the relegation places.
In the local paper this week Horgan has slaughtered Gavin Brennan.
He's right to do so,as his two red cards this season, both deserved, have let the team down big time.
However it should have been done privately and left at that.
As a new manager he needs the dressing room behind him,and this won't help him achieve that.
We might just about win a relegation play off it I wouldn't bet on that right now.
I fear we're on a slippery slope and the brakes are not working.

you've obviously no idea just how bad the First Division is this season.
Besides, Harps are a million miles away from a playoff as it is.

1-1 in Tallaght this afternoon, Sean O'Connor with the opener for Shams B, then Galway had Stephen Walsh sent off, apparently for an elbow on O'Connor 2 mins later. Jake Keegan equalised early in second half.

Massive credit to ground staff, pitch looked grand - considering that was the third game in 4 days and all the rain, they deserve huge praise. I think that was the first time Shams used the '3+keeper' rule this season. Didn't they have the 3 allowed first team players against Shels? They had Hyland, Kelly and 2 O'Connors (Sean and David) starting today
