fair point. But generally when I've met Quinner he's always been a decent fella, very happy to sit and talk to you for as long as you wanted. I could see him being a very natural event speaker with lots of tails from his early days as a footballer, whether it be with Arsenal, City, Sunderland or the Irish squad.

Just kidding Junior I'm sure he will be fine. We had Brian Kerr as after dinner speaker at our club many years ago, he was brilliant. My favourite story was about the youth championships where he said the only team that really worried him was the Chinese as "They had a few to pick from" :)

Agreed....was @ the RISSC 20th.anniversary dinner recently......did ask him he'd ever supported a certain team in Glasgow,whilst his biggest gripe :rolleyes: was with the 'Puppet state',that they'd never selected him! :eek: ;)
