Australia vs Ecuador

Australia will be with three debutants and many young players who have less than 10 NT appearances. Captain L. Neill, R. Williams (Middlesbrough) D. Carney and M. Zullo (from A-League) are notable missings in defense, then experienced M. Bresciano, A. Thompson, J. Kennedy and R. Kruse are attacking players who are out too. Promising midfielders B. Halloran (Dusseldorf) and C. Herd (Aston Villa) won't debut in this game though. Taking this into consideration, the team will be much weaker than in the last friendly game against Costa Rica (1:0 win). On the other hand, Ecuador will be without R. Ibarra (Vitesse) and J. Rojas(Cruz Azul), but captain A. Valencia (Man Utd), F. Caicedo (ex Man City), C. Noboa (Dynamo M) and J. Montero (ex Betis) are available. At the moment, Latinos look better than the Aussies and it should be mentioned that the game will be played in London. I really don't like to bet on friendlies, but I'll go with the lowest stake cause I've found a very solid prize at my local.

bet: Ecuador win
odds: @2.20
stake: 0.5/5

There are a lot of friendly matches tonight, but I wouldn't bet on other games because meeting at the Den still seems to me like the best bet of the day. Good luck!!!

Cyprus vs Northern Ireland

However, I'll try with one more game tonight. Cyprus will have the home advantage (close to 20 degrees) and tickets are free so it is expected great support from the stands. The team is without a scoring in last six games, but will be with a new coach P. Christodoulou, who had a lot of success in domestic competitions. Also, all key players are available. On the other hand, Northern Ireland is without a scoring in last nine friendly games outside the island. Their coach M. O'Neill has many absences: A. Hughes, J. Evans, L. Hodson, C. Baird, S. Clingan, C. Evans... I can see that these two are of similar quality but with these terms I think that home side is close to winning. Take part due to tempting odds at local and all my stakes are the same for this kind of games.

bet: Cyprus win (draw no bet)
odds: @1.90
stake: 0.5/5

6/13 right. I think I'll stick to watching other people win bets.

Australia 3-0 up at half time! Lost 4-3! If that happened at Tolka Park or somewhere there would be questions asked!

Talking about dodgy betting patterns, a Barney Curley sting is doing the rounds this morning!
