Anyone know of any preview pull-out with any of the papers?

I know the 'Star' usually have something.

16 page pullout in the Democrat this week.

Terrific read as usual.

The Evening Echo did a fantastic pullout last Friday night

Yeah, on 30 years of Cork City, another pullout this Friday, season preview. Presume The Star will have their mag on Friday as well.

30 years or months?Think they just had the number 30 on the front page to cover all the bases.

there's usually one in the star and one in the mirror. or at least that was the case until recently.

I think one of them is usually the PFAI pullout and the other is the official league one.

probably both this Friday.

only thing I'll buy the tabloids for.

Decent 8 page supplement in The Argus this morning.

With the away tickect allocation for the Louth Derby going on sale this morning, excitment for the start of the season is building up nicely.

Probably as good as it's going to get from The Irish Times

That's a decent article and a measured analysis of the various teams chances and aspirations

Yeah. Sorry I wasn't giving out about the article as such - just that some of the other rags would be producing more probably

Positioned under the yachting, bowls and er schoolgirls hockey, no doubt.

...And they're calling it 'The National League'. What?

16 page pullout in the Mirror tomorrow. 'Pocket sized' fixture booklet too. Advert on the box for it there.

They might scale back on the old reporting on schoolgirls activities given recent events..

Nice vid, but the players and staff look like Al-Qaeda hostages forced on camera.

Irish Times kept calling it the "National League" after it became the eircom League because a few key personages got burned on eircom shares and didn't want to promote the company. True fact!

No magazines in any of the papers this morning.
The only paper that has a pullout is the Mirror which is quite good.
Plenty of articles in it. It's dissapointing there were two magazines last year as far as I remember.

There's supposed to be one with the Indo.

Yes - they've all definitely got guns pointed at their heads by offscreen gunmen. Let's hope they show a bit more energy 'on the field'.

There is. It's the "official" one. Indo replacing the Star.

On a weekly basis, I find the Mirror's Friday pull out to be exceptionally good. Haven't seen today's yet but I've no doubt it'll be excellent

Mirror one not bad. Goes from Teams 1-12, based on where they finished last season. Wouldn't be as good as the Star version and haven't seen the Indo.

Indo one pretty much the usual. I will have one moan - Rovers B Specials (thanks Mr A!) get more column cm's than any other 1st division club - the other new club in the 1st doesn't even get a quarter page.

The Mirror had an interesting one, front page shows 'Airtricity league 2014/15 Season Pullout inside'

I got the Indo one, thought it was quite good, light enough reading but a good effort from them, as I dont think they ever produced one previously?

I went straight to the back page of the Mirror pullout expecting to see the usual First Division page preview. Thoroughly disappointed to find one small article on the division with a simple preview of this weekends games instead of any sort of season preview.

Premier Division got a good pullout though.

correct oriel. for the first time ever since 2002/03 the indo took over the stars effort..

The season thing apart, the Mirror's pullout was decent enough. At least they made a bit of an effort.

Back in the Celtic Tiger years there used to be glossy inserts in most of the papers, unfortunately these days it's relegated to plain old newspaper..!
