Don Cowan at 16/1 might not be a bad bet.

Ryan Manning is still with Mervue isn't he? He'd be doing well to be top scorer in a league he's not playing in. Though he may end up with Galway FC yet I suppose.

Manning is still playing with Mervue u-19 team. I assume once that season is finished he'll sign with Galway. Only doing his leaving cert this year, so it'll be highly unlikely he'll leave Galway.

Kevin McHugh and Sean McCarron both at 12-1 is tempting.

He would have to surprise us by starting to score goals first

Or getting into the team at all next season.

It would be surprising to see Longford go for anyone other than O'Sullivan and Cowan partnership up front.

Sean McCarron would need to be a lot more consistent this season if he's to be up at the top of the goalscorer list. He was superb for the first series of games last season scoring goals and creating goals but with injuries and "distractions" holding him back the goals dried up.
Kevin McHugh is still a top class finisher but he's having to work harder for his goals now with the quality around him alot lower than we used to have. If he gets the supply in the right areas he'll be well up there too.

He can't. He has to sign before end of Jan or wait until July.

Entirely possible he might be waiting until July to concentrate on his studies.

ah now shaw seems to be a fav of TC and if he could carry the confidence he had at the end of last season into this one anything is possible

He's the type of player that could be sold to England in the near future. Would Mervue be happy enough to have him signing for Galway FC and let them get any fee? Not sure what they could do about it and they'd get some compensation but just curious as to whether it'd cause any tension.
