Thread title is self explanatory lads, any rumours doing the rounds as to who Mick Cooke is targetting?

Any word on a budget for the new season?

Any word on any of last seasons squad being kept on?

Wouldn't mind seeing Paul Skinner, Aidan Collins, Sean Byrne, Neil Harney, James O'Brien, Mark Hughes, Graham Kelly, Philly Gorman, Ian Sweeney and Enda Curran kept on anyways.

Enda Curran is rumoured to be heading to Derry.

No big loss if he goes. But still would like to see him stay. Heard Alan Byrne, Michael Schlingerman, Eric Foley (All Drogheda) and Robbie Benson (UCD and Former Athlone) are all rumoured to be signing. Heard Iarflaith Davoren is interested in signing too.

Are Benson and Davoren really linked or is it just a case of basing it on fact they are former players who played PD football the last few seasons? Not having a pop, just a genuine question.

Any word on who Cooke is looking to keep? Would be a shame to lose Curran, reckon he will do well in the premier division

Benson has said himself he wants to come back. As for Davoren a few Sligo lads have said he has said he wants to sign for us as he is from Tullamore and wants to play closer to home. As for last seasons team, Cooke seems interested in James O'Brien, Aido Collins, Philly Gorman, Neil Harney, Marc Hughes, and possibly Curran. He could want more but thats the only few im aware of. He spoke to alot of players Friday so hopefully will have a few signed this week.

Harney and Broughall were chatting with Cooke in the stand yesterday at the 19s game.

He had a few of the current squad at Monaghan, including Aido Collins.

Davoren and Benson would be excellent additions, Cooke has a nice amount of time now aswell in order to put a good squad together.

Would be very nice to keep the better players from last year and add to it with some experienced Premier division players.

Good honest lad, will give 100% can play up-front or wide, not be fooled by his size (small), he is probably the strongest in the gym. Useful signing for ye.
