The real former Man Utd manager Mike Phelan would consider the right LOI manager's job, if he was stuck.

Ollie Horgan is the new manager of Finn Harps.
With former Sligo Rovers keeper Ciaran Kelly as assistant it seems.

A bit about Horgan.
Looks the part for the biggest job in Donegal football anyway.

If he's winning matches week in week out we won't give a fook what he looks like.

If he wins matches every week he might finally pull Aunt Sally...

All joking aside it is good to have a Galway manager in the league.
I genuinely hope his term doesn't turn out like the last manager to come from an underage Irish team.

A few papers over last few days said that Ollie Horgan used to be a Galway Utd player. if that is true what seasons?

I thought he was on the books of Athlone??
He played most of his adult years in Fanad, a no nonsense hard hitting left back, one of the best to have played USL imo.

Wasn't with Athlone, not the first team anyway.

Played in the Junior leagues in Galway far as I'm aware. Read somewhere recently he played in around Galway, but don't think he ever played League of Ireland.

According to Harps legend John Gerard, he played against him on a couple of occasions and was none the better for the experience, pretty rough customer by all accounts!

Any sign of Waterford Utd to appoint a manager? Seems strange they haven't appointed one seen as their last permanent manager departed during the summer
