LONDON RISSC 2 - 3 ABERDEEN

Maybe we are getting too use to having a top quality referee (Derek Russell) for our home games once we go on our travels the men in black seem to conspire against us.........................

The 1st half was evenly matched until Darren Nolan making his 1st league start of the season in goal came racing to the edge of his box to punch away a through ball just as the Aberdeen forward tried to head it over him, he also caught the forward with the follow through and both sides were amazed when the ref blew and gave a penalty. (next time make sure u knock the forward sparko as well !!!) 1-0 down and more decisions went against us until Liam Kelly made it five for the season with a equaliser, Aberdeen took the lead shortly after when the bounce from a long throw confused the Irish defence. Donnie Mullin scrambled an equalizer just on half time.
We reverted back to 4-4-2 for the 2nd half with Darren McGee coming on and it was constant Irish pressure but we couldn't get that 3rd goal, with Darren McGee / Karl McGee / Liam Kelly / Tim Nagle and Kevin Logan all going close. Aberdeen got their 3rd when we failed to clear a corner and the last 5 mins was all players forward to try for the equalizer, which unfortunatly didn't come. On reflection a draw would have been a fair result the referee gave some strange decisions and when the Aberdeen centre half didn't agree with an offside giving by Irish Linesman Paddy McGee and nearly started a riot(bad move considering 3 newphews on the pitch for Ireland, and obviously no knowledge of the RISSC v Stoke game) the referee decided to continue without both linesmen.

Ireland Team : 1 - Darren Nolan, 2 - Phil O Dwyer, 3 - Adrian Ward,
4 - Jon Carey, 5 - Dan Healy, 6 - Karl McGee, 7 - Kevin Logan, 8 - Tim Nagle, 9 - Liam Kelly(1 goal) 10 - Ben Parry, 11 - Donnie Mullin (1 goal)
Subs - all played - Darren McGee, Paddy McGee, Red Hughes

Next up Birmingham @ Fullers Sports Ground Chiswick 24th Oct ko 2pm
