Well done Pats. Nice to see good clubs like Sligo and Pats win the league.

Congrats Pats - regard ye as my 'other' team since the early and mid 90s after the dealings between the 2 clubs - Campbell, Flaherty, Carpenter and Mernagh - and Johnny Glynn a few years later.

Well done Pats. Good footballing side and there's always been a good welcome for Town fans in McDowells. Maybe we'll get to return next year.

I recall being very, very hungover in Inchicore in 2008 and watched Harps get hammered after going 1-0 up. Since then, I quite liked St. Pat's. Don't ask me why.
Happy to see them win the league.

on behalf of the section O a massive congrats to pats! I know dodge and one of the other pats lads that post on here and we always got a great reception when we were in McDowells.. pls God we will make it there next season! I always had time for St Pats ever since Pat Dolan helped us massively when we were close to goin bust in the late 90s!

Played the best football, scored the most goals, conceded the least. Congrats all round.

Pats stayed the pace and when it mattered they emphatically answered any questions asked of them in the run-in.

Congrats Pats , a good strong finish v Dundalk and Sligo deservedly won the title. Great to see decent hard working players like Ger O`Brien and Conor Kenna getting their rewards

Despite being Ballyfermot born and bred and despite attempting to get "into" Pats as young 'un; I just never did get comfortable in Richmond. :)

However despite all this ye are worthy champions. It would have been a lovely romantic story for Dundalk to win it after the shoite they've put up with over the last few seasons but it would have been a travesty.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congrats Pat's.

Had to laugh at Pat's playing 'We are the champions' and the Champions League theme tune at half-time, after all the cribbing they did about Dundalk doing similar earlier this year.

But I'm just bitter.

Well done Pats. As the cliche goes, the league table doesn't lie. They've been the best team over the course of the season and when it mattered they beat the teams closest to them.
It's been a good season with good football played, let's hope that carries on next year.

Yes, Pats were definitely the best side for the duration of the season. Stood up when it counted, winning the two key games, both 2-0, home to DLK, and Sligo. Goals against was it 15? This was alone was worthy championship winning material.

Notable better disciplinary record also, of the top 3, they were the best (we were by far the worst) they were true champions all over the park.

Congrats.

Congrats Pats. Fully deserved, best team in the league by some way even considering the Dundalk threat.

Now if you could extend the celebrations to next weekend and field a severely hungover team against us, that'd be fine...

Well done, Pats. I think Liam Buckley should celebrate by growing some sideburns (they don't have to be big). He does look a bit '1980s'.

best team in the league, best away team I've ever seen at Turners Cross, and I include the likes of Red Star Belgrade in that.

But I don't have to like it. bah humbug.

Congrats Pat's. The best team definitely won the league and playing a lovely brand of Football. Might even be seeded in next Season's CL but that's for another day...

Well done St Pats. On the sliding scale of loathing I feel for other clubs, Pats hardly register.

Ever? How long have you been going to TC. Even Red Star ?....... How many other big names have been there.

Sarcasm per chance?

Perspective.

City under Tommy Dunne are a different beast to now. We are not as easy to give up possession anymore.

Since 1998. I've never seen such a dominant away performance at the Cross.

Can't stand Pats so don't take my comments lightly.

Well done Pats, richly deserved I think. Amazing to think this was the team that came to Tallaght on matchday 2 and got roundly thumped.

Pats won't be seeded so a lot will depend on the draw. If they get someone like Celtic they're out immediately
