By the way, cheers Sligo for giving us Ryan Connolly, he's been an excellent addition to our midfield. Never stops running and has shown good attacking qualities from the middle of midfield. It is a big step down but he's definitely stood out.
Good to see him doing well. Nice bloke. Just not good enough for us at the moment.

Even tho I would like to have more people at our games we've done alright this season. After Derry next week that will be our 17 league home games played, we will have probably hit over 2,000 at 6 or 7 times, we got over 3,000 for the Dundalk game and will have over 3,000 tomorrow and hopefully the same next week. Also a big crowd in Europe and the cup QF against Rovers.
Will ye get 3k tomorrow? Can't imagine us bringing a huge crowd

Yeah he's more than likely not good enough for a title challenging team but he has the makings of a decent PD player for someone I reckon (hopefully us!).

Decent result for Bohs tonight. They can't finish any lower than 11th at worst. I expect a battling performance from Bray at home to Limerick tomorrow. A win there and they'll give themselves a fighting chance going to Dalymount Park of putting themselves in a position where they might get out of the bottom 2 places. With Shels and Bray without league wins in so long, it is hard to see either getting the point to avoid those 2 places.

Over 2,000 already sold, should be a big crowd.

The team certainly deserve a full house today and next weekend

Not trying to sound bitter, but I'm delighted for Waterford after the farce that has been their season.
The craic with Henderson and nearly going out of business only to recklessly spend on more players has severely backfired for them. The begging bowls will be out soon for the savewaterfordunited foundation.

Bray 1-0 up at Half time, that would put Bray 3 points clear of Shels with two to play.

Limericks Sam Oji has been sent off for a second yellow. Still 1-0 to Bray with 25 or so minutes to play. Bray have just had a goal disallowed and apparently Taylor has been sent to the stands as well.

Good result for Bray, suspected they'd get the win. It'll be interesting to see how they get on in Dalymount Park on Friday night. A win for them will keep Bohs in the relegation mix going into the final day.

Pats strolling it, fair play - clearly the best team in the league and worthy champions.

Fair play to Pats. Deserved it over the season. Main thing for us now is not to treat failing to retain the title as a crisis and keep the stability that's kept us near the top.
Enjoy your night in Inchicore - congratulations.

Congratulation to St. Patrick's Athletic on becoming league champions.
Winning the title with two games to spare is a measure of how much they deserve the trophy.
They'll be dancing in the streets of St Patrick's tonight!

Limerick one up on Shels, they're throwing everything at us. Kelly has missed several sitters.

Can't believe we actually beat Shels tonight with the team we had out. Due to injury, suspension or giving players the night off we were missing Curran, Oji, Gamble, O'Leary, Folan, Galbraith, Tracey, Axel and Williams was on the bench. Some of our under 19's gave a great account for themselves though. Shels didn't look up for the fight at all till about 15 minutes into the second half. They certainly had enough chances to win the game in the end though.

Wins a win. Bray can doom Shels with a point at Bohs. Limerick with an outside chance of 6th.
