it would be interesting to know what the story is alright. much as I think he's an excellent player, I really think the team has a better shape without him in it

Even the Behanator is ahead of him now? waste of money when he'swarming the bench

might have more to do with the teams we played than who played for us.

Fenn? Don't think so mate. His workrate isn't the best (better than people give him credit for though) but his first touch is as good as you'll see anywhere.

Kearney & Fenn have combined very well this season. I've noticed they play better individually when both on the pitch.

I've a feeling Fenn could make an appearance tmr night against his old team...

And slot a couple of goals in too...

Seems he could be paying the price for snubbing the manager when taken off against Bohs. Nwankwo also seems to have disappeared.

Reason for Nwankwo's fall-out was well known I thought!

do tell. what's going on?

Reason for Nwankwo's fall-out was well known I thought!Oh? First I heard of him associated with any grief. I did wonder why he was not in Waterford. 20 players warmed up on the pitch, and he was not one of them.

i think that having danny and neil on the gench is a good thing  !
both very talented players and worth whatever their being payed, but having them on the bench means they have to fight for their place.
i think thats what we were lacking after the inter-toto run as dolan seemed to be unwilling, rightfully, to change such a successful team. that alowed some players to take their places for granted and maybe  start slacking.
competition for places is a v. good thing. no player should be automatically played because their on so much money, or because they USED to be the best for that position.
the sooner derek caughlan is back to challenge dan murray for his place the better!! ;)

You're not far off the mark there !!
Great to see Hoggie back on and we know Lordan is well able as well. Danny and Greg etc. .... it is good to have the competition for each position, just as long as it is just that and players start throwing the toys from the pram.

so would ye let him go, to say, Shels or Bohs? people say the team is better without him. no point in arguably our top earner warming the bench is there?

No point in arguably our top earner warming the bench is there? Reasons why having Fenn on the bench is OK, IMO:
1. The results have gone our way since he took up that position.
2. The entire midfield are playing out of their skins, probably knowing that if they slip, Fenn is no more than a warm-up away.
3. A strong bench causes havoc with the opposition when a quality player comes on fresh.
4. Would you like to have Fenn playing for the opposition??? I still shiver at the clinical finish against us in his last game for Waherfurr at the Cross. I think that goal influenced Pat Dolan and Brian Lennox when they were looking for a new signing.

spot on. he is class, and if anyone think they can take it easy, I'm sure dolan will have him straight back in the team
