Post responses to the Foot.ie Survey announcement (http://foot.ie/announcement.php?f=28&announcementid=49) here. I think we should have three "categories" of questions, listed below, so please mention which category your questions should go in. Try to keep them short and to the point. If you would like to suggest other categories or ideas, feel free, but try not to stray off-topic.

Domestic Football
International Football
Foot.ie
NOTE: For the most part we need "fixed" questions, i.e. questions with a number of answers that the users can choose from. You can't generate stats from freeform answers. I'll probably allow one freeform answer per category.

Should there be a mid-season break?

-Yes, to reduce risk of injury
-Yes, only during major tournaments
-No, it defeats the purpose of summer football

How do you see foot.ie?

-As the hub or universe of communication for eL fans
-As a decent halfway point to communicate with other fans
-A Cork City forum under the guise of an eL forum

How do you view the relationship of the EPL to the eL?

-Direct competitor and enemy who marginalise the league
-A superior alternative and supplement to the league which must be accepted and worked with

How do you rate the FAI's attitude to the eL?

-Promoting the league well and showing a good interest
-Doing an ok job at promoting, reasonable interest, could do better
-Poor promotion, lack of interest, stunting the domestic game, needs to vastly improve

How do you rate the converage of the eL in the written media?

-Good, gets as much as a league of this quality deserves
-Can't complain for a league of such quality but would prefer more
-Reasonable, but should get more
-Not enough, may be a poor league but should get promotion as domestic game
-Vastly inadequate, really needs far more coverage

League schedule. Which do you prefer and why

friday night football

because after the match, my weekend is free
i prefer/have to work on saturdays
its still the best choice as it doesnt clash with the english/scottish premiership
other

saturday football

it would mean i could go to many more away games
there would be more away fans at our home games
euro games are a better fit with saturday games

How long have you treated the eL with contempt?

Always, sure I support United

Hardly, look at my CCFC season ticket

Of course I really meant to ask

Why do would you prefer to spend money on your team, as apposed to an eL team?

That would be an open answer but would also highlight why people disregard the eL for their English clubs

What do you think of the Setanta Cup?

1: It will bring much needed money/coverage into the league.
2: It will broaden the gap between the bigger/smaller clubs
3: It wont work
4: Other

If you had money 2 invest in the eL, what changes would you make FIRST to bring more fans to the games?

* Spectator facilities (Seats, roof, toilets, shops etc.)
* Ground facilities (Pitch, floodlights, training ground, etc.)
* Better players (Keane, Duff, Given Connolly< :D >)
* I wouldnt invest because of the boards who run the clubs
* I wouldnt invest because of the way the league is run
