What a wonderful french evening!!

From Italy, and from an irish fan, I'm delighted, and proud to support that guys!!!!

Does anyone know any site where I can find pictures of the extraordinary travelling irishmen?

for starters

just back ....tired and emotional, fans were awsome , great game, happy with the result.


hungover big time....too much beer and too little sleep. hoarse too. and I look like sh1te......but it was well worth it.

Sorry for those who did not get to experience such a proud night in Paris for the fans and team.

the meetup under the tower was a great success.

was there from about 2pm till 4pm and the crowd swelled to a few thousand , 2 balls being kicked around, french TV came down , big sing song, then it ****ed and ****ed and everyone went back to the bars to get oiled for the big one.

What a stadium, The French do not deserve it . They do not deserve their team either .

We blew them out of it from the off.

We even had to sing their anthem for them ...Pires got rightly booed for diving . Henry was annonymous.

Great result but ....slight feeling of an opportunity missed to pull away from the other teams . if O shea could have just angled his foot a couple of degrees more it would have been game over as we were on the up at that stage.


Anyway, we are ina with a great chance to win this group they way it stands , so lets finish off the job now having done a good job on the first 3 games.

Off to bed with me....

Didn't anyone else see the fella who flattened the poor Japanese family when he was after the ball? Poor *******s! Didn't stop me laughin' though, God forgive me!

We were sat in the very back row of the stand opposite the TV cameras. Great view, even if it was a bit of a hike!

We must have a very similiar sense of humour Dan, cause I was in ribbons laughing at that one too. Many be it was cause I was a bit drunk but it was hilarious. He never took his eyes off the ball and they never saw him coming. It was like a game of skittles. :D :D :D :D :D

Yeah camera was stuck on long exposure (oh er!) setting, so its shutter time was longer than normal.

When i could keep it totally still it the result was not too bad (http://www.birmanpets.btinternet.co.uk/Ireland_France/100_FUJI/DSCF0405.JPG), if i moved slightly it went very wrong (http://www.birmanpets.btinternet.co.uk/Ireland_France/100_FUJI/DSCF0417.JPG).

I'm in one of yours outside O'Sullivans Peader, one of my mates is in one of the stadium shots as well, sitting in the seats that I sold to him!

Whilst looking at those photos, I came across Tetsujin1979's photos, which lead me on to the photos of an asian bird called 'eire'. Very nice indeed! :D
