Someone at the club has not had a good week for releasing statements.

To be fair the statement itself is hardly the problem here. :)
Disappointing but something the club will hopefully learn from and not see happen again. Long season ahead yet for the 19s.

Bit harsh to give Mervue the win considering how comprehensively they were beaten imo.

It's the rules in any competition so needs to stand regardless of the score.

Suppose so ya.
Pity that they have lost the points after the players doing the work on the pitch just a matter of making sure it never happens again now.

Harsh in that the player was registered solely with Limerick but not seperately for U19s. That said just take our oil on this one and get on with things, the rule is there, we broke it, hopefully we'll learn from it and not have it happen again at any level.

At least it happened early in the season and the team can try put it right. Would be worse if it was right at the end of the season and cost them possible promotion.

Silly mistake but just accept and move on,these u19s are a lovely bunch of players to watch, saw them against Longford and they were class, must have been a similar story with Mervue game, people should make it there business to see this team this season.

Totally agree with you. In the first half they seemed to be getting into their stride but once they did they opened up Longford at ease. Looking forward to the next home game.
