f mcewan is that Frank McEwan that won senior caps for Ireland- think he played in early 70s and played for Blackburn?

That's Cecil Pobjoy of Drogheda. Frank McEwan is correct also.
Would be delighted if anyone could confirm any of the other first names.

Both Johnny Ryan and Tony Aherne played for Limerick in the LoI albeit briefly. Both still live in Limerick.

Johnny Ryan played mainly for Ballynanty I believe. Riverside are long gone. Tony "Fresh" Aherne was with Pike Rovers.
