According to the Star this morning, Robbie Farrell and Coyler are on the transfer list and we're expecting a double signing, any ideas who they are?

There's been a lot of talk recently than Alan Kirby (Waterford, ex-Aston Villa youth) is on his way to Longford.

I was just chatting to an "in the know" bohs supporter who has informed me that Bohs have just had a bid or Mcnally turned down.........but they are going to make another bid.......
it looks like we will hang on to him.........also on eL site it says that Reynolds from Waterford is on his way to us as well.?

I heard a rumour just before the ned of the season that Robbie Farrell has expressed (more than) a healthy interest in playing for
De Athlone

Anyone else hear that rumour?

According to a couple of the Waterford Lads on eircomleague.net message board Alan Reynolds is coming to us as well as Kirby. Two good signings, once they are confirmed. Anybody down the country know anything more?

I suppose I better post that the Town site now has a message board as well (I did post about this one on the guestbook so don't want to be biased). I prefer this format (easier to use, private messages, no one can log in as someone else, plus it's unofficial), but I'll go with the flow - there's no point me saying I'm staying here if everyone else is posting on that!

not too bothered about Robbie Farrell especially when he was sent off for clattering a Waterford player recently, Coyler was good back-up, he just needed a run in the team. And to Bohs-HANDS OFF MACKER! Kirby sounds a great player, if he signs for us, he'll be a great addition.

Do you watch the matches? Kirby played great against us in the two games in the Cup. Farrell was sent off against Bray :rolleyes:

The 2 Robbies have only been put on the Transfer list, so they are still part of the Town squad, until they are sold!!!
Robbie Farrell was dead on off the field, but wasn't able to make it in the Premier. Coyler was dead on aswell, I thought he was a good left winger & a good back up for Wes! I'm a bit disappointed that he will not be with De Town any longer.

There are 2 more players joining De Town within the next couple of days. Can't say who they are, but keep an eye on the LTFC site!

Macy, Kirby and Reynolds were talk about for the last 4 weeks....like about 10 other players which the club had no interest in...eg Eric Lavine (your one, Macy) & Rutherford (yet your one again Macy).
Everyone knew that Stephen was interested in Kirby when we played Waterford in the Cup!!!

Most of my info comes from the clubs we're targetting - and I don't do too bad considering my only contact in the club is someone who give anything away. Besides it was common knowledge that we wanted Kirby, but Reynolds wasn't.
If only we knew people from Ardagh that could put us in contact with a new striker.....
