Think about it, there's gonna be over 20,000 Irish fans there. A lot of them will have never been to a match in their lives. If it's a brilliant game and Ireland win they'll want to go to every game. If it's sh**e and Ireland get stuffed they'll never want to go to another match again. There was 1500 in Basle and now 20,000 only a few weeks later. I hate part time supporters that only come out for the big games. If it's means ****ing them off so they never turn up for another Ireland game I'll take 4-0 to France now. Vive le France!!!!!

What sort of sad, stupid post is this? Glad things didn't go the way you wanted. :p You obviously only go to places like Basel, just to say you were there. You're not much of an Ireland supporter.

Basel and Paris were within three weeks of each other, and a lot of people (including myself) didn't have the cash to do the two. I've already been to Basel last year, so I it was an easy choice to make.

feck off, what s*** comment to make, I have been to home games and if possible to away games, where I can't go I am down the pub in front of the big screen, besides not everyone can afford to go to away games, if the home matches were held in Crooke Park, then there would 30k plus supports

Well for starters he never even says that he went to the match so he's probably not even a supporter at all, as he's also only recently registered I would suspect he's on here solely get a rise. You have to start somewhere and if going to France was the first game for many then we should celebrate that fact. Be a good idea to close this thread as it quite frankly doesn't deserve the time of day. Bitter, twisted and sad, thank god we had so many new recruits going to the game as it makes up for neanderthals like him. :p
