Not sure this warrants a new thread but couldn't find one for the U17's.

I was looking at the squad announcement on the FAI website when I saw this lads name and remembered out of nowhere reading about him before. He's one of the more highly thought of youth players at Chelsea and recently turned down a new deal - allegedly alerting the likes of Barca & Real. His brother Kristian plays for Stoke and was in the U19's squad recently too - this kind of stuff - while slightly sensationalist - can only be good!

Scott is the younger brother of Stoke City academy’s Kristian Scott, and the siblings have both represented the USA at youth level.

What?

Made his debut tonight for Chelsea, coming on for Fabregas. Ampadu started.

Could still play for us I guess as he never played competitive for us unlike the brother who played up to 21s with us. Was he at the recent under 20 world cup with the USA?

If he still qualifies, why not ask him

Oh dear . Hardly a good hunting ground for Irish players .
