Galway United manager Tony Mannion will be hoping that top scorer Damien Dupay proves his fitness ahead of tonight’s clash with Cobh Ramblers at Terryland Park. Kick off at 7.45pm.

Dupay has been a revelation since joining United at the start of the season and the French man has now scored 12 goals for the First Division side.

United are 13 points behind third placed third placed Bray Wanderers and although it is mathematically possible to catch the Seagulls, a mid table position is the best they can hope for.

Mannion is also sweating over the fitness of Martin Herrick, while Conor Frawley is still away on honeymoon, leaving the United manager with a selection problem.

Cobh are on a high following their emphatic 8-1 win over Monaghan United last weekend. Striker Dave Crawley scored six goals in that match and Ramblers manager Stephen Henderson will be looking for the sharp shooter to gun down Galway.

The Cork side have failed to win a match away from home in a year now and Henderson will be looking to end that unwanted record before the end of the season.

Ramblers have only one injury ahead of tonight’s match as Willie Byrne is struggling to regain full fitness after a knock sustained during last weekend’s win over Monaghan.
