doyler and kearney are the only 2 members of the under-21s who will be coming straight home after the game tonight
the rest will stay on for the main event
city hope to recoup the cost of flying them back but face a battle with the fai
fair play to the club for getting them straight back with a vital game monday night
They shouldnt have even went it said on the paper that they won't even play

Just cos they not starting doesn't mean they won't play.
I'd put money on Doyler coming off the bench anyway,

hope it wasn't too much pete!
i wonder did the fact that they were summoned back by the club affect their chances of playing?

Or the fact that Don Givens is possiably the most inept manager ever to take control of a team.
Nothing like dropping the top scorer available to you when he's in red hot form. Good old Don:rolleyes:
Think of the talent that passed through the U-21 sides in recent times and look at what he "achieved".

Didn't they go 13 games unbeaten recently though? I wouldn't be his biggest fan either but I don't think he's that bad.

Givens is a muppet. He's done ok recently because he's had some excellent players, but I don't think the guy has a clue

they were beaten 1-0 by france, missing a few good players so it was not a bad result...and at least our two city boys will be fresh for tonight as they have both been our best players this year..
