How big of a problem would this be in LOI today? I often hear rumours of players not getting paid or paid late but rare that there is confirmation.

Cyprus was being lauded by the same people who lately are slating the LOI fans for being eejits. Cyprus was always a bubble league, dodgy money and short term, a couple of clubs tried to do it right but fell off the pace because they didn't splurge. Greece the same, Turkey going that way too (in some spots).
