:ball: Does anybody ever remember a better town goal than Dillo's wonderstrike tuesday night??
A few spring to mind including- Stewy Holt's free kick against Pats, Dessie's recent hattrick against Derry and Lavine's volley last season against UCD from a tight angle but this must surely rank among one of the greatest! Not only that, but I think he has been one of our most consistent performers all season. He playing smashing stuff of late and hasn't put a foot wrong over the last few months. The lad deserves the highest respect. Credit where credit is due.

It's a crying shame that Baz will miss the final, such an inspirational captain. But I feel we have enough cover to cope. I believe in Spud, Dillo, Garto and Paiso we have a steady back four and I just cannot see us loosing to Waterford in the final. i reallyhope Vinny takes that scumbag Reynolds out of it. :p

Btw, any members of section O hitting Paris at the weekend? Or any town fans? I'll be paralatic in Paris! :D

And it's just marvellous to have Flansdowne to look forward to on the 24th. The perfect remedy for the Paris hangover! ;)

Keith "mumbles" O'Connors volley against waterford at home in the cup in our promotion season. Also his bicycle kick aginst rovers in the league. Stuey Byrne has 2 or 3 (cork, harps in partic). We have had some super strikes particularly in recent times with the quality of players we have been bringing in.

Byrne's goal down in cork.
John Martain also scored a cracker against Shamrock Rvrs this season in Inichore,it was his first touch of the ball as well

That's right mumbles overhead kick against rovers in the first season up was a gem.......... and it was the winner too! Beating rovers at that time was seen as a huge achievement(which it was). Not anymore though.... we take it for granted! :p

While it's great to be in the final, it's that vital we win it. We need a another crack at Europe for both financial reasons and to bring the club forward.

"I have a dream that one day Longford Town will be the first Irish club to reach the group stages of the Champions League... that the Section O Flansiro will one day be present in the Nou Camp!

This dream I believe can become a reality.
