I recall we got out of jail in that game with a late Dunne volley... I think at the time Dunne was at his nadir in terms of off the field application and it was onwards and upwards after that.

This is a bit anoraky but David Connolly's goal in that game always reminded me of this Florin Raducioiu in USA for Romania (goal at 15 secs)

yeah very similar, except, if i remember correctly, Connolly ran on to a long ball against the odds and planted it in the bottom left corner.

Dunne's goal, if i remember correctly, bounced off a few people and was handled twice before Dunne buried it.
I also remember the Turkish sub goalie being nuts
