Is this game still on?? Won't be able to make it and I thought extratime might have goal updates on it but they don't even have it down as going ahead tonight....they have 3 friendlies down for been played tonight and our game isn't there!!

Yeah of course it's still on. Who knows why extratime aren't mentioning it but the club put up ticket details on Facebook and Twitter this morning.

Ye it's strange because on the press release I got their recently it wasn't down as an approved FAI friendly so a lot of the media outlets don't even know it's on.

Well extratime were advertising a competiton for mascots for it yesterday so they should be aware of it!

I see Neil Lennon's been spotted in town so unless he's doing a bit of sightseeing the game is on.

Just got notification that its on, just extratime ignoring LTFC again!! I hope Cousins doesn't play his first 11 he intends on fielding in Cobh. With Salmon and Nkolo injured and Tyrell and Quinn suspended we don't need anymore absentees.

I believe a fair few of the u19s are involved so I can't imagine the first choice lads will play for too long. Given the weather you'd hope for a good "walk up" crowd.

Wouldn't be too worried about the game but the crowd was very disappointing. Man Utd got a fairly decent crowd on a rainy night last year I had hoped Celtic would get a decent crowd on a hot evening. Seems like only United and Liverpool can draw a crowd in Longford. Seem to remember a decent crowd for the Liverpool Legends. Hopefully the club at least didn't lose on tonight.

I've been told they lost money alright, very very disappointing. I hope it's the last XI team we ever bring over there's just no interest in them anymore. If Waterford can bring the likes of Crystal Palace over we should be trying to do the same, people in Longford only want to see the ''sky sports'' named these days in afraid.

Waterford got 2,800 for a very young Man Utd XI last night. As I said above we got a decent crowd for them last year too. I think it's all about the Premier League though. Celtic are only a passing interest for most people these days. Their first team would get a crowd alright.
