Have all the members on this page been blocked or what?
The lack of people writing posts on here is shocking....no transfer rumours no banter........?

It's quiet alright. Few teams back pre season in coming weeks so will have better idea of things regarding transfers then. Couple of new teams in division 4 which is always a plus. Roll on August

Its very quiet , But with teams only returning back training, there wont be much to talk of new signings for another next few weeks. Have heard nothing myself as regards rumours , so im just gonna sit back and be patient and see how it all unveils

Think its a good appointment two lads have loads of experience can only be good for
Michaels they'l have to sign a couple of players plus keep breeno an carr fit tho they leaked
a lot of silly goals last season. Town will need to get couple in themselves and no one
knows how big a loss raymie condon will be after retiring but there young players will have gained a lot from last season.
Celtic I think need maybe another striker and midfielder other than that they should be alright.

I agree with you completely, they will need a new goalkeeper as well and maybe a forward who could give them at least 15-20 goals a season,,,never had since the great Michael grace was there all those years ago.....

Suirside Fc are one of those teams anyway. They are from Ardfinnan. Big work going on there for past few months with fundraisers, sorting pitch, kit , sponsors and player recruiting.I Didnt hear of any other new team

Suirside should walk division 4 some great players out that neck of the woods. Other new team was meant to a reserve side re entering the league not sure if its definite now or not though. Any players on the move in premier and division 1 all seems quiet

Is that the same Richard Kennedy that was training Stephen Hunt the Irish International footballer today in Wexford that trains Clonmel Town? If so what kind of money does it cost to get a guy like him on board?

Hear Evan is training with Waterford at the moment. But hasn't signed him yet. They haven't made any offer to sign him yet.

balls
07/07/2013, 8:03 PM
Pointless Evan signing for Waterford with only 10 games or so left in league . but i suppose all players want to test themselves at a higher level.Richie Ryan and Sean o hara out for start of season for Celtic. Need to get a few recruits in to bolster squad. Have cashel or Peake made any signings

jug2004
07/07/2013, 10:25 PM
Both huge losses to celtic. One consistent keeper and the other consistent goal scorer. Hard to replace the pair with anyone in the league. Celtic surely have to sign to replace these two but what's out there do ye think that can do the same job?? Heard michaels defo have 3 from limerick no sure how good. Hard to know how things will work out this season could be v open.

jug2004
07/07/2013, 10:34 PM
How long both out for and what happened them?

biglad101
07/07/2013, 11:49 PM
Ritchie had an operation on his knee and o hara broke his ankle both massive loss' s
for celtic havent heard of them signing anyone yet they'l need to get a couple in try build
on last year.

Evan Mcguire won't be signing with Waterford. He's found love and wants to spend as much time as possible with the Moll, I kid you not.

biglad101
12/07/2013, 3:13 PM
Is it really worth signing when they only have 8 or 9 games left and if
it doesn work out cant sign for a junior team till next season. Any
more transfer rumours out there heard Cahir are struggling for players.

Head Brian buckley ( chucka) Darren o Sullivan christy Doyle all former view players and fine players signed with st Michaels. View connection there with purcell anyone confirm these have signed.

balls
12/07/2013, 9:00 PM
The ex fairview lads rumour is doing the rounds all right. Couldn't see chucka coming out of retirement to travel to tipp for game of ball. Other two would be huge additions and would provide the fire power up front that saints have been missing past few seasons.

Heard paddy wack is back with celtic wouldn be a bad signing
especially with celtic losing sean o hara for start of the
season and maybe evan maguire if he decides to give
Waterford a go.

well town desperately need to add some firepower if they are to compete. really missed jimmy hynes last year

biglad101

Yea they were really lacking last year there top scorer had
something like 9 goals which just isn good enough if they
wanna compete would be a great signing.

Little bit of extra pressure on Celtic this season being defending champions. Saints and town with new signings in , looks like 3 horse race. Can't see much of a challenge from the rest this season

Redman028
18/07/2013, 11:12 PM
We might be down a few teams this season , Heard 4 teams in dyer trouble and one team has even turned to Facebook to ask for players. Its very sad to see this happening

It's getting tough for the Clubs out of the towns to hold onto players. This is only going to get worse, with only 8 Youth teams in South Tipp for the last 6 or 7 years where do we think players are going to come from. Half of lads that have played youths end up emigrating and that leaves the supply chain very thin. It would be better if instead of the TSDL telling clubs they must have a Youth team to Have a B Team. If all B Teams were forced to have at least 6 under 20's on the card every week, it would help keep young lads playing. Most clubs could round up 6 young lads that would be good enough for B Football and some good lads that would otherwise be lost to the sport would stay playing.
