I had a lot of spare time today and finally got around to finding out who are the top five fastest Longford Town players to have scored ten goals.. The results are interesting and intriguing!
1. Davy O'Sullivan 10 goals in 10 games
2. Richie Parsons 10 goals in 15 games
3. Eric Lavine 10 goals in 20 games
4. Pierce Walsh and Martin Smyth 10 goals in 21 games.
Some notable surprises there. I wont go into the full details but they will appear in a future Longford Town programme soon! Apologises if it wasnt done any sooner but things were put on the long finger when I was in Dublin working for three weeks!
