Personally, I think We will win but like the Galway match last year, just about win it. I don't think Drogheda are as bad as what they showed a few weeks ago and they will be a different team today.

PREDICTION:

LTFC 2-1 DUFC

Longford scorers: Dessie and Deano
Drogheda scorer: Fabio/Lester

thought the ground looked well.
section o could be heard throughout the match giving it socks :D

conditions did'nt look the best for a good game so it was a bit flat.

i'd be happy with a replay the way we played tbh.

Yeah, singing Shamrock Rovers songs adapted to longford - what was that about?

I have to say it was a very poor performance and we should count ourselves lucky to still be in the cup. Vinny was terrible and looks very unfit but maybe he just had an off day. No one showed for the ball in midfield so we resorted to kicking it long and Dessie & Lavine didn't have a hope against Drogs big centre backs. We gave the ball away much 2 easy and a huge improvement will be required for Tuesday night if we are to have any chance but on the plus side i don't think we can play any worse. I just hope the weather isn't as bad because it ruined the game yesterday.

You cannot argue with the facts. Drogheda had the chances Longford did not. We are lucky to have survived.
Having said that I believe that Drogheda may not have much more to give, while Longford had so many bad performances they must improve. At least the team will have no fears of playing at O2 Park. 0-1 to Longford Tuesday.

Think everyone agrees it was a very bad game but that was always the way at home and we went away and won. I think Garto should have started and left Barret out (he was just as poor as Vinnie, but always seems to be poor all the time lately, Vinnie just had a bad day and that doesnt happen very often......) and played Prunty on the wing with Dillo behind him. We should do the business tommorow.
