Any news on the two lads? Echo had it that O'Flynn was injured in a car crash, and CT was injured in the match last night.

I saw Flynn show up before the game in his City Tracksuit, and he looked grand.

Tony Blair looked grand on Tues only for him to have a heart op yesterday..Concussion alone would not allow a player to train or play for a number of days i reckon Gary..No conspiracys around..

Spoke to him after the U21s final and he said he is nearly back, had been training the week after the crash and probably shouldn't have, but he is eager to get going anyway. Not long now !!

Face..do you think S O Flynn is good enough to get into the City side and if so where would you play him?..it seems unlikely he will start left side with Kearney doing so well..i still would like to see a bit of the guy..he puts good crosses in from the left..could he play up front with Doyler/Flynny/Fenn?

That is a good problem to have. The one advantage is his build, i'd put him on before Liam when playing Waterford or Shels ..... He is very good on the ball and crosses are good, knows where the goal is, good pace. I know he cant walk straight on to the team but reckon when he gets the chance ... it wont go a begging.

A face..i agree it definetly is a good problem to have..he will be well up for a fight to get on to the team once fit so it will be good for us..

The season is coming to an end soon and I think it's too late for S 'O Flynn to get any starts this time around. He might get a few sub appearances but I'd say start next season fresh and hopefully injury free and he will get his chance.

As for Colin getting injured it means Dolan has to play Georgie and gamble together for awhile because our midfield options are so limited.

This would help, kinda blood him in at least. Unbelieveable bad luck for the guy all year !!

. . . Dolan has to play Georgie and gamble together for awhile because our midfield options are so limited. How bad! Still, there is plenty of cover available in Greg. CT getting injured allows Pat Dolan to give Greg a run, which is long overdue, but up till now there have been few optons. Shows how strong the squad is getting, IMO.

Yeah, it is a lot stronger and more full of quality now rather than quantity, as it was at the start of the season. And the u-21's aren't bad either ;)

Bodes well for next season...

true but hes also looking in from the outside at what is going on...also with the way flynny is playing and he still cant get a run while having a lot of games under his belt for the u-21s
