Rovers players to meet with union


Shamrock Rovers players are due to meet with the Professional Footballers Association of Ireland (PFAI) over the coming days to discuss a course of action over outstanding wages owed by the cash crisis club, according to a Friday newspaper report.

Rovers and the PFAI have been at loggerheads on more than one occasion in recent years, with the most recent dispute arising over the signing of American goalkeeper Russell Payne while the club still owed wages to some of its playing staff.
