I remember Cork Hibs well and Dave Bacuzzi in particular. They were very successful in the early 1970s and Cork Celtic were the other Cork side at the time. I don't think they were as successful but I may be wrong. Bacuzzi had blonde hair and a tan which was unusual in those days in the LoI. Not sure what happened to Bacuzzi in later life after he had a spell as assistant manager with Rovers.
There has of course been a plethora of Cork sides since then with a modicum of success.

Hardly a plethora since 1976.
Cork Celtic left the league in 1979.
Alberts joined in 1976 became Cork United in 1979 and limped on until 1982.
Cork City were founded in 1984.
Sure we'll take the modicum I suppose
25 senior trophies in 29 years.
