Man City are without Trevor Sinclair and Claudio Reyna and Sibierski now looks like he has cracked ribs:

“We are waiting to look at the x-rays but we think he has a cracked rib in which case it would be very difficult for him to be fit.

“I don’t know how long it takes cracked ribs to heal – I guess it depends how badly cracked they are but I do know it’s very painful.

McManaman is fully fit but could play if Keegan doesn't have enough confidence in Flood. This is what Keegan had to say about Maca before any news came from Sibierski's injury:
"I asked him last Friday if he would sit on the bench for us even though he had trained pretty hard but I said that I would not give him more than half an hour.

"I may have to do the same again this week but that is a decision that I will take on Thursday.

"I have told him to keep following his programme until Thursday when we will then take a decision. He will probably sit on the bench again."

If Macca doesn't start Flood is nearly certain to start.

The only doubt I would have over this is where would he play? He's not left footed, as far as I know, and that's the position that needs to be covered.

I'd say he will play, but I can't really see him starting. I'd be delighted if he did though.

<edit>

The Man City reserves team for tonight was announced, Willo isn't in it, meaning he'll be involved in the saturday game at some point.

Paddy McCarthy starts and Karl Bermingham is on the bench

Flood's goal last week was with his left foot. He also scored with his left foot against Madeira (http://archives.tcm.ie/breakingnews/2004/02/27/story136187.asp). :) maybe he can use both feet well. Also, he would be replacing Sibierski who too isn't a left winger.

It is, and I'll be there too, so I'll let you know how he looked up close.

Well, as upclose as you can be in a Premiership Stadium without being arrested that is.
