Not sure if there's a similar thread already, but thought it might be nice to see other clubs' efforts at match posters. I know Sligo have done some good ones lately.

This isn't bad, a little futuristic for my tastes, but think it looks well.

Cost cutting measures in Finn Park. Nobody watches First Division anyway.

I like the way the H joins up with the V to form a sort of tick. Real sense of optimism.

Can't find a link to it now but there was a class Bohs one this season listing off some of the famous players to play in Dalymount. It was a brilliant one.

This was our pre-season poster campaign. Posted around Phibsborough, in Casa Rebelde and some bus shelters. Agreed, absolute quality poster. Top notch.

Our match posters are pretty nifty too but have no link other than a link to our Facebook photos page...

Better than Salthill's effort. "We don't advertise in the city"

At least their honest about the fact they know nobody will turn up.

3 things.

1. The corner flag should have been removed for the photo as it distracts the eye.
2. The "v" between the badges is superflous. If you centre the badges over the club names it would look pretty perfect.
3. Nicknames? Eugh.

Heh heh.

As usual the Dundalk stuff is of the highest overall quality. Who does it? Anyone on here? I still have an old press pack from a few years ago on the PC at home. It's unreal.

Dundalk's website and PR in general have been top notch for many a year alright.

Took me a few seconds to understand what you meant. I think it's actually the opposite. They know nobody will turn up either way, so they don't bother and then tell people two or three times the attendance was there.

Agree with BonnieShels and Adam164, Dundalk stuff has always been excellent for years.

Their match programmes were top notch too.

The press pack was put together by Keith Wallace, who was media officer at the club for years. he won several press/media awards during his time with DundalkFC.
He unfortunately is not involved with the media position @ Dundalk anymore
Keith IS still very much a DundalkFC fan and still writes and tweets on all things DundalkFC and much more.

Find him here

https://twitter.com/OrielUpdates (https://twitter.com/OrielUpdates)

He also has his own his own WebSite which is the go to site for all stats about The Lilywhites.

http://orielupdates.com (http://orielupdates.com/)

On the posters job i can't comment because some who are involved with that might take offence if i didn't name them :D and i don't know them all.The same with the website, and FB.

Cheers, the lads work very hard at getting the programme out and maintaining the website, I used to do a bit for the programme a few years ago, but the latest version is just quality, so much reading and the theme still being used is not just match night material. For instance they are doing a 2 page for the late Barry Kehoe life story in all programme, and any away fan going would still get a good read even though they missed previous parts, loads of other items like 'on this day in history' etc

I recall an Athlone fan posting years ago, 'they have more on their programme committee than we have on our football club committee' :o

So if going to a game in oriel, please buy a programme, you won't regret it @3 euro.

Bringing up an old thread after over a year, but this is utterly fantastic.

Could be a theme - photoshop of when Ned's head was on the chopping block when he's under pressure!
