tickets for the match are still available for the match in Paris... The best Category 1 tickets are sold out - I have bought my tickets from them and found them very efficient. Tickets arrived by registered post in 4 days. There is an extra charge for this service. Before buying go to a site that shows a 'seating plan' of the stadium. Once you have that you can then decide where you want to be seated - within reason. So if the tickets you are offered are in the wrong section for you, just back out and reenter your details. You will be offered others... but dont delay they are selling out fast!!

pegan? I looked at the post for about 20 seconds and I couldn't remember typing it until I realised that it wasn't me :p

If you still need some and can't buy them from people here then try booking it at www.fnac.fr (just like our Virgin) and collect them in Paris whenever you can.

My sister called to say that in todays Irish Sun it reports that 10,000 are travelling over with no tickets hoping to buy them in France. If it's true then I wouldn't worry about getting rid of whatever spares you have :)

Read that too, but it is the Sun! They say 30,000 going and it would seem that they are basing the 10,000 without tickets on fact that FAI sold 20,000. Brillant maths! whatever, I think from monitoring the boards here, loads of spares will be about as I can't see 60,000 French bought tickets for game, what with the apathy to it. What you think from your end, ptegan?

From radio,TV and papers, there isn't much of a build-up to this game as there are more important things happening in French football. Everyone knows that 3 players resigned over the summer, refusing to play for their country. Now people are questioning if they had the right to do so or not. even Zidane is getting stick and he has NEVER been traeted badly by the press.

46,000 at the last game. If we say that 100% were French then I'd say we should be looking at the same amount this time + the 30+k Irish = 76,000 (pass maths leaving cert 1992!)

Either way, the French are not looking forward to playing us.
