FourFiveOne have received an allocation of tickets from the FAI's eL initiative for Ireland's upcoming home qualifier against Faroes. These tickets have been made available to us and are aimed at fans of eL clubs who are willing to sing and get involved in creating an atmosphere at the game.
This game takes place at Lansdowne Rd on 13-Oct-2004 KO: 19:30. If you are interested in tickets for this game send an email to FourFiveOne before Friday. No applications accepted after Friday.
Leave your name and a contact number and we will contact you in the next few days. We are not sure as of yet of the ticket prices but will let you know the price when we contact you back.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-These tickets are for Cork City fans only. If you are not a Cork City fan you will not get tickets from us
-This initiative will be running for all of Irelands home qualifiers and any friendly matches in between. During the course of the campaign we will be keeping record of those who get tickets from us and will do our best to accomadate regular buyers for tickets further down the line. In other words, don't try and come along for the games against France and Switzerland next year and try to order a ticket if you haven't been getting them all along!!!
-While all efforts will be made to accomadate City fans with tickets please keep your order reasonable as it will not always be possible to get 5/6/7 etc tickets for people depending on demand. Regular buyers and City fans get preference
-When we make contact with you in the next few days we will give you bank account details for you to pay the money for the tickets into. It is vital that you put your name with the lodgement and keep your receipt. NO PROOF OF PAYMENT=NO TICKETS!!!!

Deadline Friday.
Absolutely shocking reply to this!!!
As a result of the very poor orders for this game it's seriously gonna affect our allocation for the home qualifiers next year. So people, don't come crying to me next year when you try to order tickets and are told you can't have any

Last chance...
Collecting the tickets tomorrow.
Looks like we'll only have about 30 tickets for the big games next year now. Only those who've been to Faroe Islands game and all of the others last year will have a chance of getting tickets.

Lads,
Is there any chance the FAI will have given ye the tickets in time for distributing them either before or after the Longford game on Monday night (in e.g. the Horseshoe)? 'Twould be a very handy way to manage it, surely?
(not that I'm trying to tell ye how to do it :D How ye are still willing to do it amazes me, fair play it has to be said. Trying to organise tickets for a group of people for any type of event and then trying to get the money/ distribute the tickets is a horrible job  )

We will try to arrange that. Otherwise it will be the usual meeting spot of Murrays in Dublin before the game.

If you're left short then I'll chip in a few yo's to help cover some of the cost.
This is the first game I can't make but I could buy my usual 2 tickets and let you raffle them or something?
Let me know.
Sure I'll see you in Paris tomorrow anyway.

Yeah, I'll match that.
If the money doesn't go through over the weekend, let me know and I'll try and get a few takers from work etc., so that you're not out of pocket.
€900 would mean almost no one paid yet based on original 30 figure plus a few late submissions.?
I'll see if any more interest from friends...

I'll help cover cost ... just let us know what it is !!
Muppets ... can you find out who they are ?? Good puckin' is what is called for !!
Cheers for the offers of covering the costs lads but it won`t be needed.
I get back from France tomorrow evening so won`t get a chance to get to the back to withdraw the money and collect the tickets. I was hoping I`d have them before the game tomorrow night but that obviously didn`t work out
I`ll be withdrawing the money from the bank tuesday morning and getting as many tickets as I can with it. It will then be up to people to prove they paid or they won`t get tickets.
Eric, A buddy of mine said he could shift up to 10...
Good to keep the allocation up - we just make sure the clowns who didn't pay never get a ticket again.

For those travelling by train, what train are ye getting up.
In the end the money was fully paid up and the people who were late with payments were in touch with me to explain why they were late.
Thanks to everyone who's posted on this thread for offering to help out. It's a plesure to organise getting tickets for most people but everytime there seems to be one or two people that have to go and make things complicated.
For future matches we will be reviewing the way we deal with ticket orders/payments in order to make things run easier. We will more than likely be trying to get orders and payments done a lot earlier than we have been in order to give lee-way to people not paying etc.
So I suggest that if you are planning to go to Ireland games in the future and get tickets from us then check your diaries and plan ahead!
Again I just wanna thank everyone for offering to give money/shift tickets etc, cheers lads

Eric,
what time are we supposed to be meeting in Murrays to get the ticeidi?
Glad everything worked out by the way!

Eric will be in Murrays from 6 to 6.45.
Please don't be late.
Apologies to those who normally collect their tickets in Cashmans in Cork a few days before the game. Could not happen this time.
What Eric didn't mention above is that he missed the Longford game last night because he had to collect the tickets today in Dublin. If people had of paid on time he could have collected them last Friday.
Cheers,
FFO
