I'd say you'd find that most players who have left Cork City would not have much good to say about the club. And would you blame them?

Was at the Dundalk V Galway match on Thursday night and was in the pub afterwards when he came in. He was sitting on a table next to us and I heard him say it myself. But as Neil and Éanna pointed out it is not as if he's been treated well by the club of late.

The list of quality players that have been deemed 'no good' by our esteemed manager is frightening...

Gone:
O'Halloran
Tynan
Moore
O'Brien
Herrick

Frozen out:
O'Flynn (who is rumoured to be looking for a Cobh move)
Flanagan
Napier
Morley

And then he plays Hartigan (and Daly)!!!

MURPHY OUT!

Unfortunately I hate to say Daly has an effect on the team. He has played some fine games for City but he has also played some crap games. When he plays good city play good.We need him in the team

don't agree. the guys a liability- too slow. what we need is napier and coughlan in the centre wih napier as captain.

How can yea say Daly's too slow and then wan't Napier in the team. Napier is with out doubt the slowest player to grace the X in the last 10 years. He still wakes up in the middle of the night in cold sweats, "Brathwaite no, Brathwaite please no."

thats because he's not a full-back. he was player of the year last season, because he was outstanding until murphy came in.

When match fit, i always thought was a great player. He was very hard working and he covered off everything. His passing was close to if not 100% and he is not afraid to go into any tackle from what i could see. Napier fully deserved player of the year last year, he probably shone through a bit more as half the players were on strike, but the only reason he is not in the running this year is because Murphy wont play him.

Other people heard it and all and I don't think he is anti-City just not on good terms with some of the staff...it's not lies.

dead right Scoooty!
herro was forced out of Cork...and only left in the end because he wanted away from gunther and when UCC and UCG arranged for him to transfer courses without him losing the time he spent studying in UCC.

Herrick was one of the most genuine guys to ever put on a City jersey

agreed. I've no problem with a manager shaping his own squad but getting rid of talented and experienced players and not replacing them is downright stupid.
