the word from the horses mouth is that our might morley is retiring at end of season,

he says the league is getting too proffessional,

honestly they were his words

anyone care to offer an opinion

One of the best players ever to come out of Cork, and a sound bloke too.

himself and johnny c deserve a testimonial, we'll never again have 2 players score so many goals for us. Hopefully the club will keep them on as coaching staff.

Doesn't Johnny help out with the U21's?

If we claim some silverware this season it would be nice to have a testimonial for them during the break. I can think of no better send off that the League title, FAI Cup and League Cup.

So long as we don't have another UCD anything's possible.

Although he's not at his best this season, Skippy has been a great servant for the club and deserves at least a testimonial. He would be great if he was added to the coaching staff as well...

I think when he said too professional i presume he was referring to the effort and time off work he has to put in.

pat is right to call it a day.

a great player whose true worth will be realised when he is gone

I agree we won the league in '92 thanks to these two greats. In their day they were one of the most feared strike forces in Ireland

agreed. pat has been a great servant for the club- let's hope we send him out on a high. definitley should be kept on too- imagine what he can teach the likes of CP with his experience.

Thought you only got a testimonial for 10 years unbroken service !!! how does he qualify. Johnny C certainly deserves one and Deccie is probably due one too, But if there was a testimonial for Morley i know i certainly won't be paying to get in.

Good point but who would the opposition be? And Shedboy I like most other TRUE city fans would pay to see Pat Morleys testimonial. You sound just like a junior "religious character"
