I'd have Chambers in the team all day long, but with the personnel available I think he'd be more effective further forward with Rice picking up the defensive responsibilities.

I know the match was Monday but commenting now
Great game on Monday between Shels and Bohs. Even if the crowd at the match on Monday if what it use to be at this fixture 10 years ago the players played their part and made it a great old Dublin derby. I'm amazed at how Tolka has gone into disrepair. Ballybough Stand is no longer in use and most of the seats are rusted or damaged, the pitch looks poor(I know Dalyer isn't great at the moment) and the toilets didn't even have proper lighting.

Thanks for the hospitality from Limerick it was nice to be treated like humans for a change.
What was the hospitality like? From what I saw, the gardai couldn't wait to get ye out of the city.

What was it?
He didn't look interested and somewhat dismissive of it. I'd have expected the captain to be rallying the troops.
that'd be the same chambers who won the league with Rovers the same year that Ryan was playing "that role"for sligo.
ergo, your talking outta your ar$e. as usual.
I hope Croly persists with him anyways in that role.
I also hope he persists in not playing Quigley for a good while yet.:D:D
I suppose when your only aim is to improve on last year you can't but succeed eh?

Hospitality was excellent. Just simple things like decent toilets including toilets for women.
No problem with food and beverage, i.e didn't have to be told there was no water left or johnny only brought the one kettle(seriously!)
Limerick sent some tickets to the club in advance which was very convenient. No problems going in to the other stand to hang flags.
The Information for traveling fans on their website giving various details for parking, what time we could enter the ground etc was very professional.
Limerick fans were great too, many came over to talk about the match at the end.
And just to answer about the Gardai. Limerick paid to give our supporters buses a full escort out of the area to ensure nothing would happen.
Having experienced a 'every bus for themselves' scenario coming out of grounds before, it was very impressive from Limerick having the escort.

Hopefully your own club will have learnt a thing or two about good hospitality then.

Rovers go to the trouble of turning the sprinklers on and giving our players a cool refreshing shower before leaving the pitch, they are the very soul of hospitality.

Hey, that's more of a shower than Rovers players were given at Dalymount.

Bohemians notice to away fans
Bohemians would like to welcome all travelling supporters to Dalymount. There you can avail of our 2 portaloo jacks as the toilet hasn't worked in 50 years. There is also a crappy chipper van for fans too.
Enjoy the view.

Pretty much every other club can avail of the Jodi Stand. Unfortunately due to the misbehaviour of shams thugs over the years the Gardai direct they must be kept away from decent civilised supporters.
