Karl Spain's been a fan of the club for a while, if he counts as a "celebrity" anymore.

Although Sam L. wins this thread, Irvine Welsh is also a Bohs fan. Attended Bohs games very regularly down the years.

Surely they would be City fans, from Baltimore in West (VERRRY WEST) Cork.

Tommy Smyth ESPN is a big Dundalk supporter(not a celeb maybe but he has a huge Twitter following) .The late Dermot Morgan AKA Father Ted was a massive UCD and LOI fan.I think i read somewere that he also marched on or organised marches in support of KRAM(Keep Rovers At Milltown) back in the day?
Tommy Smyth ESPN is a big Dundalk supporter .
Ahhhhh, that explains why I find him an insufferable pr!ck... ;) though I have noticed him mention LOI teams a few times during commentary so kudos there...

No doubt, fairly well-known, but John Hume, Eamonn McCann and Martin McGuinness are Derry City supporters. The Undertones too, and Phil Coulter, apparently. Maybe even Dana?!
Saw this on Twitter the other week, taken during Martin McGuinness' trip to São Paulo: https://twitter.com/M_McGuinness_SF/status/311761156144517120/photo/1

Define celebrity. I saw this chap on O'Connell street about a year ago and I got that 'oh fyck, there's someone famous' buzz:

By the way, why doesn't Johnny Logan follow Dundalk?

Gives the LOI a good mention on twitter as well. Mentioned Pats and Dundalk on ESPN Press Pass at the end of last season as well.

I know he follows Bohs - but he's from Dundalk, isn't he?
EDIT: so he's not from Dundalk. according to this: http://www.johnnyloganfan.com/index.php/nice-to-know/facts-and-information
he went to school in Drogheda, though.
So,,what I meant was....why doesn't he follow Drogheda? I mean, given a choice between them and Bohs....sheesh....astoundingly his taste in football is worse than his taste in music.

Distressingly, I've learned from the Johnny Logan Website that:
The Dubliners came often in Johnny Logan's childhood home
On that, wasn't Luke Kelly supposed to be a Bohs fan?

Doesn't Johnny Logan live around the Ashbourne/Ratoath area so Bohs would probably be his local side.
He definitely did live in Ashbourne, Mark, and he also went to Scoil Mhuire in Howth as a chisler so hes a devout northsider - therefore Bohs being the only true option.
