Double still alive for Drogs
Two sides that are in the FAIreland Carlsberg Cup semi finals next week meet tonight as Drogheda United host rivals Waterford United at United Park. Kick off at 7.45pm.
The Drogs are still in the hunt for a League and Cup double, as they currently lie second in the eircom Premier Division, five points adrift of leaders Shelbourne. Paul Doolin’s side had the chance to regain top spot last weekend, but bogey team Longford Town inflicted their third consecutive defeat on the Drogs at United Park.
