Striker Stephen Fox could return to the Bray Wanderers side for Friday evening’s clash with Sligo Rovers at the Carlisle Grounds. Kick-off: 7.45pm.

Fox has been feeling the effects of a thigh problem but has been passed fit and could return to the attack alongside in-form Eamon Zayed.

That may be offset by the absence of versatile Colm Tresson however – the experienced utility man is doubtful with a calf problem.

Mid-table Sligo may have nothing but pride to play for but that didn’t stop them delivering a severe blow to Galway United’s promotion hopes last week, and they will aim to repeat the trick tonight.

However, the Showgrounds side have lost their last four games away from their north-west home, and with Bray averaging almost four goals a game at the Carlisle Grounds over the past month, Rovers will do well to dent Pat Devlin’s side’s promotion aspirations.

Sligo top scorer Stephen O’Donnell is unavailable through work commitments, however, and defender Gerry Carr is also a doubt.
