Wondering if Roy's been reading Pineapple Stu's by now infamous 'Knacker kids' thread? Especially the part that goes "Give 'em a good kick up the hole... one that'll have them hopping for 20 minutes".

Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but in the light of what we all know it's hard not to draw the conclusion that Keane is a nasty s***bag. Unless you're from the Leeside, of course.

From the BBC Sun 19-sep-04

Manchester United captain Roy Keane believes Sven-Goran Eriksson's England side have no world-class players.
"Anyone world class in England's squad? Not in my eyes," the Republic of Ireland star told United We Stand.

"When Steve McClaren was here we were having a bad spell and he said: 'We've got one world-class player in here'.

"We waited to see who he said. 'Fabien Barthez'. He was right - Fabien was the only one who had done it on the world stage," Keane added to the fanzine.

Zinedine Zidane, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo are also world class, according to Keane.

"Ronaldinho's not bad. He would have done very well for us because he can beat a man and that's what you need at the top level," stated Keane.

"In England you need match-winners and we've probably not had that in the last few years."
